But first a little bit about our Pasture Raised Chickens...

Our Chickens are Pasture Raised Without the use of Antibiotics or Added growth hormones.
Why is Pasture Raised better? Pasture Raising our birds allows them to act like birds. They dig in the ground and scratch for seeds.  Our birds are able to eat grubs, bugs and grass. They are free to move around within their enclosure. This allows for a more flavorful meat. 
Why do we Pasture Raised instead of Free-Range? Well, it is a very simple answer, Predators. We unfortunately have an over abundance of fox, coyotes, hawks and eagles in our area. So for the birds safety as well as our own financial safety we raise them in an enclosed tractor. The tractor is moved to new ground at least once a day, usually twice as they grow bigger to allow them access to fresh ground. ​
